Dr. Harpreet Minhas received her Bachelor of Science Degree with Distinction at The University of Calgary. In 2011 she moved to Chicago, IL and earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree at The Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Minhas went on to do additional training in Philadelphia and obtained her Primary Care and Ocular Disease Residency at Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). Following her residency, Dr. Minhas took an Assistant Professor position at PCO with a substantial part of her time spent teaching in clinic which had a strong emphasis on ocular disease. She went on to gain further experience by acquiring her Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 2017. During her 3 years as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Minhas, went on a service trip to Haiti with students. She provided Continuing Education lectures to her colleagues in the greater Philadelphia area, and worked closely with Retinal, Neuro-ophthalmic, Glaucoma and Corneal Ophthalmologists.

When she isn’t working, Dr. Minhas enjoying hiking, reading, and exploring the city.
Dr. Minhas is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and American Academy of Optometry.
