Dr. Kristi Pevzner was born and raised in Calgary. She completed her Bachelor of Science with a special interest in Applied Physiology from Mount Royal University. She then went on to complete her doctorate in optometry at the University of Waterloo, where she graduated with honours.
Dr. Pevzner trained in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she received extensive training in the management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye. She also trained in Calgary, where she developed an interest in pediatrics. She is passionate about patient education, and enjoys helping her patients understand the link between their eyes and their systemic health.
In her spare time, Dr. Pevzner enjoys hiking, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
